Taking Server Backups and Restoring
Purchasing backup addons, creating instant backups and restoring them.
In brief
- Backup slots come with addons and the Backups card shows the used / limit.
- When the limit is reached, you need to delete an old backup or purchase a new addon.
- Create backups with one click from the Backups card in the panel.
- You can restore or download any backup you create.

To protect your service data, you can create instant backups via the panel. However, this feature is not included in the plans by default; you need to purchase an addon for backup slots.
Open the Backups tab
Opens backups for your selected service in the panel.

If you have a Clodo service you can jump straight to the right panel tab. This card does not change anything on your service.
Purchasing Backup Addons#
You can purchase a backup addon from the Addons card on the service detail page. Backup slots come with addons and the Backups card shows the used / limit. When the limit is reached, you need to delete an old backup or purchase a new addon.
Creating and Restoring Backups#
Create a backup
Go to the 'Backups' card in the panel and click the create backup button.
Download the backup
You can download the generated backup archive to your computer. This is the safest way to take your data off-site.
Restore
When data on your server gets corrupted, you can select the relevant backup from the same card and start a direct restore process.
